I'm Heather Holzhauser, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Integrated Attachment Theory Therapist. I believe lasting transformation begins by accessing your inner gem—the powerful part of the subconscious mind where true change takes root.
Therapy doesn’t have to take years to create meaningful results. When you align with your subconscious rather than working against it, healing and growth unfold naturally and more efficiently. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and subconscious reprogramming techniques, I help clients break free from negative patterns, heal attachment wounds, and overcome anxiety, self-doubt, and other emotional barriers.
I specialize in working with individuals who are ready to move beyond the past, gain clarity, and create lasting change. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, struggling with self-esteem, overcoming limiting beliefs, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to unlock the strength that already exists within you.
I offer online therapy sessions for clients in both Kansas and Illinois, as well as in-person sessions in the Chicago area.
If you're ready to step into the life you truly deserve, I would be honored to support you on that journey.
My ideal clients are queer and neurodivergent individuals with a history of trauma. They may experience challenges with self-acceptance, navigating relationships, or managing emotional overwhelm. They seek validation, trauma-informed care, coping strategies, and guidance in embracing their unique identities. Their aspirations include healing, reclaiming their personal power, and fostering a strong sense of community. Above all, they wish to feel empowered, seen, and safe—enabling them to live authentically, cultivate self-trust, and thrive in a world that can often marginalize them.
I specialize in EMDR, somatic therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help clients process trauma, regulate emotions, and heal from past wounds. Using these modalities, I guide clients in reconnecting with their bodies, integrating fragmented parts of themselves, and fostering self-compassion to create lasting emotional transformation.
